The HS Trust offers a confidential, anonymous telephone and email emotional support service to anyone affected by HS within the UK. All calls and emails will be answered by trained staff and volunteers, who have experience with the condition, and are able to listen with empathy, respect, and without judgement.
Our aim is to provide a friendly listening ear to people wanting to speak openly about how the condition is affecting themselves, a family member or friend, and we will also do our very best to guide you to any services that we are unable to provide. Our volunteers will always offer a non-directional, non-advisory service, supporting and empowering callers to make their own decision, and not telling you what you should and should not do.
Our operating hours are 10am to 2pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (Except on bank holidays). We aim to answer all emails within 3 days, and calls within 1 minute, however, if you experience any issues getting through to the helpline, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
